Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and boost productivity. Collaborating closely with production teams, you will identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions that optimise outputs while reducing costs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects aimed at increasing process capability and reliability.
  • Design and optimise manufacturing processes to meet production requirements.
  • Integrate automation solutions into manufacturing systems.
  • Champion lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations.
  • Train production teams on best practices and new technologies.
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes for compliance and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about process changes and impacts.
  • Utilise data analysis to inform decision making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams for new product introductions and testing.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering
