We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our talented team in Luton. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and maintenance, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance on production machinery.
Assist engineering teams with system upgrades and modifications.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in a timely manner.
Document maintenance procedures and workflows.
Support the production team with setup and operational advice.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Train new staff on machinery operation and safety protocols.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.
Requirements
Education
Relevant technical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Higher national diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a similar role
