Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, you will handle the operation and maintenance of our advanced soaking and heating units. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure processes run smoothly and meet manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operation of heat treating furnaces used for tempering metal and plastic.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to monitor the quality of treated materials.
• Train junior staff on the operation of heat treating equipment and safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections of heating equipment and report any required repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and output.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in Manufacturing or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with heat treating operations

Technical Skills

• SCADA Systems
• Quality Control Standards

Advantageous

• Experience with Biomass Boilers: Familiarity with biomass energy systems and their integration into heat treating.
• Knowledge of Energy Management: Ability to implement energy-efficient practices in operations.
