Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting fuel to various locations within the UK, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive fuel trucks to deliver fuel to various clients promptly.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure all safety equipment is operational.
• Document fuel quantities and maintain trip logs regularly.
• Work closely with the logistics team to improve delivery efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company-specific protocols during deliveries.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required. A relevant driving certification would be advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience as a fuel truck driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Technical Skills

• Valid UK Class C driver's license
• GPS navigation systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Certifications

• ADR certificate for transportation of dangerous goods (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with fuel delivery systems: Familiarity with operating and managing fuel delivery systems.
• Knowledge of local road regulations: Understanding of UK road laws specific to fuel transportation.
