Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Sheffield. You will be responsible for performing diverse maintenance tasks, ensuring the functionality of our equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance and be skilled at troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components as necessary.
• Document maintenance procedures and updates for future reference.
• Assist in training new staff on maintenance procedures.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
• Perform emergency repairs when needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers for specialized repairs.
• Contribute to team meetings and provide input on maintenance strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles

• HVAC systems

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• C&G Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance

Languages
