Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Innovative Engineering Solutions, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD software and a strong understanding of engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and assembly drawings.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
• Develop prototypes and conduct experiments to test designs.
• Maintain project documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure that designs are cost-effective and within budget constraints.
• Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and materials.
• Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
• Provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Support manufacturing teams in resolving production issues.
• Conduct market research to inform product development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Design is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical and product design

Technical Skills

• CATIA
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
