Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Ranch Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our ranch. The successful candidate will lead a team of ranch hands to ensure the wellbeing of livestock and the effective functioning of ranch operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day ranch activities, overseeing livestock welfare and team performance.
  • Train and mentor ranch hands, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure all operational activities align with best practice and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the health and nutrition of livestock through effective care practices.
  • Maintain ranch equipment and facilities to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Work closely with management to optimize ranch productivity and resource utilization.
  • Engage with local agricultural bodies to align operations with industry standards.
  • Address any emergencies or issues that arise on the ranch promptly.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certifications in ranch or livestock management
Experience
  • Proven experience in organic or sustainable ranching is preferred.
