Organ Pipe Voicer

Job Description

The Organ Pipe Voicer will be responsible for tuning and optimizing the sound of organ pipes to ensure the highest quality of sound projection. This role requires attention to detail and a deep understanding of acoustics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of new organ pipes.
• Train junior staff on voicing techniques and best practices.
• Utilize organ pipe voicing software for precise tuning.
• Provide expert advice on pipe selection and design improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Music or Fine Arts qualification preferred

Experience

• Experience working with a variety of organ types and models

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous Work in Historical Restorations: Experience with restoring historical instruments is a plus.
