Geological Technician

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a motivated Geological Technician (Line Locator) to join our team in London. You will play a crucial role in accurately locating underground utility lines and safeguarding the interests of our clients during excavation projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct underground utility surveys using GIS and GPS technology.
• Provide guidance to construction teams on proper excavation techniques.
• Document findings and produce detailed reports for project stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of safety protocols associated with excavation works.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skill sets.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Previous experience operating line locating equipment is a plus.

Certifications

• Certification in Locating Underground Utilities

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
