Responsibilities

• Process incoming blood and plasma samples using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and maintain accurate documentation.
• Keep laboratory equipment calibrated and functioning properly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations during all procedures.
• Assist with managing laboratory records and documentation.
• Train junior staff in laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Participate in internal and external quality control audits.
• Engage in cross-training within the laboratory for enhanced versatility.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Contribute to team meetings and provide input on laboratory efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with blood or plasma samples preferred

Technical Skills

• Microscopy and imaging software
• Statistical analysis software
