Pharmacy Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our lively pharmacy team in Newcastle. In this role, you'll assist in the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service and care. You will be involved in dispensing medications, managing inventory and supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and prepare medications for distribution.
• Assist with stock management and ensure the pharmacy is adequately stocked.
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient queries.
• Promote health services and recommend over-the-counter medications.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with regulations.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with over-the-counter medications and health products: Knowledge of common OTC products available in pharmacies.
• CPR Certification: Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is beneficial.
