Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Counsellor to join our team in Swansea. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals through various mental health challenges and possess strong interpersonal skills. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapeutic support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs.
  • Create and implement therapeutic interventions and strategies.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops.
  • Document client progress and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers for integrated care.
  • Support clients in developing coping mechanisms and life skills.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client treatment plans.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the broader healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications are an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mental health counselling or therapy
