Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Lime Kiln Operator to oversee the operations of our lime kiln. Your role will involve operating, monitoring, and maintaining kiln equipment to ensure efficient production of lime products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor kiln operations and adjust parameters to optimise performance.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all lime products.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Record production data accurately and report findings.
• Work collaboratively with production team to meet daily targets.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new operators on kiln operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished products.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in manufacturing or related field

Experience

• Previous experience in lime production or similar processes is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Lime Production Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

• Knowledge of Environmental Regulations: Awareness of environmental safety practices and compliance.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and understand technical schematics or plans.
