Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to support our Birmingham office by resolving technical issues and assisting users with their IT needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for IT issues via phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Assist users with software installations and upgrades.
  • Keep detailed records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure the IT service desk remains staffed during business hours.
  • Maintain all IT-related documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • IT or related technical certification preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years in a customer-facing IT support role
