Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design process from concept to completion.
• Perform simulations and modelling to validate design choices.
• Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines.
• Implement best practices in engineering design.
• Support project bids with technical insights.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in mechanical design and engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• FEA Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Certified Mechanical Engineer (CME)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
