Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert medication management and patient counselling, ensuring the well-being of our community members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care by assessing patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding medication usage.
• Implement medication therapy management and follow-up.
• Maintain drug formulary and stay updated on new medications.
• Attend pharmacy meetings and contribute to team goals.
• Monitor patient progress and ensure medication effectiveness.
• Support a culture of compliance and ethical practice in the pharmacy.
• Encourage patient education and health promotion activities.
• Evaluate pharmacotherapy regimens for improvement opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s in Pharmacy or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in a community or hospital pharmacy setting
