Pharmacy Technician in Glasgow

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Glasgow team. In this role, you'll assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensure accuracy in medication distribution, and provide exceptional customer service to our valued patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage prescription orders.
• Work with electronic health records and pharmacy software.
• Assist pharmacists in conducting medication reviews.
• Engage with patients to ensure understanding of their medications.
• Support continuity of care through collaboration with providers.
• Monitor patient outcomes and report concerns to the pharmacist.
• Participate in health promotion activities within the community.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
• Degree in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy

• GPhC Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
