Job Description

We are seeking a Kiln Transfer Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating kilns, overseeing the loading and unloading of materials, and ensuring production processes are maintained for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage kiln operations ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Transfer pottery between kilns using appropriate machinery.
  • Perform inspections and document quality control metrics.
  • Maintain kiln maintenance logs and production records.
  • Provide feedback on pottery production processes to improve efficiency.
  • Assist production team in loading and unloading activities as required.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Technical training in ceramics is an advantage
Experience
  • Previous experience in kiln operations is highly desirable.
