Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our Aberdeen facility. The ideal candidate will assist in various laboratory procedures, ensuring high standards of quality and safety while supporting our research and analysis efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample processing and analysis for ongoing projects.
• Compile and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities and findings.
• Assist in managing laboratory inventories and supplies.
• Implement safety measures and procedures to protect laboratory personnel.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development.
• Support research activities and assist other team members as required.
• Contribute to laboratory improvement initiatives and project planning.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Laboratory Technology or related field

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in laboratory roles preferred

Languages

Advantageous

• Hands-on Experience with Molecular Biology Techniques: Practical knowledge of molecular biology methods such as PCR and gel electrophoresis.
