As a Volunteer Coordinator at Helping Hands Charity, you will be pivotal in managing our volunteer programme. You will recruit, train, and support a diverse group of volunteers, ensuring they have a rewarding and impactful experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming environment to promote volunteer engagement.
  • Conduct needs assessments to align volunteer roles with program requirements.
  • Implement volunteer training modules and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Lead volunteer team meetings to align objectives and share updates.
  • Track volunteer hours and contributions to report to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and provide support for volunteers.
  • Promote the charity's volunteer programme through social media and events.
  • Enhance the overall volunteer experience through feedback loops.
  • Ensure all volunteers are aware of our policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
  • Master's degree in Non-Profit Management or a similar field is advantageous
  • Volunteer Management Systems Proficient in using volunteer management software and tools.
  • Event Planning Skilled in coordinating and executing events for community outreach.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with volunteers.
  • Interpersonal Skills Able to build rapport and work effectively with diverse groups.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Training in non-profit management: Educational background or certifications related to managing non-profit organizations.
  • Past experience in community outreach programmes: Demonstrated success in engaging communities for volunteer work.
