Job Description
As a Volunteer Coordinator at Helping Hands Charity, you will be pivotal in managing our volunteer programme. You will recruit, train, and support a diverse group of volunteers, ensuring they have a rewarding and impactful experience.
Responsibilities
Create a welcoming environment to promote volunteer engagement.
Conduct needs assessments to align volunteer roles with program requirements.
Implement volunteer training modules and ongoing development opportunities.
Lead volunteer team meetings to align objectives and share updates.
Track volunteer hours and contributions to report to stakeholders.
Facilitate conflict resolution and provide support for volunteers.
Promote the charity's volunteer programme through social media and events.
Enhance the overall volunteer experience through feedback loops.
Ensure all volunteers are aware of our policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Management or Community Development
Master's degree is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience working with volunteers in a non-profit setting
