The Grant Writing Specialist will identify and secure grants to support our projects. This role involves collaborating with program staff to develop compelling proposals, managing grant submissions, and maintaining relationships with funders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research on funding opportunities in line with organisational objectives.
  • Draft compelling and compliant grant proposals to secure funding.
  • Ensure that all funded projects adhere to grant terms and conditions.
  • Report on project progress to funders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve grant writing strategies and processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to enhance funding strategies and partnerships.
  • Assist in developing budgets for grant proposals.
  • Gather data and testimonials to strengthen grant applications.
  • Develop outreach strategies to attract new funding partners.
  • Facilitate workshops to enhance grant writing abilities of team members.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Non-profit Management)
  • Grant Management Software
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Written Communication
  • Analytical Skills
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Working Knowledge of UK Funding Policies: Familiarity with UK-specific funding opportunities and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Project Management: Prior experience managing projects to ensure alignment with funding objectives.
