Wireless Network Engineer

Job Description

As a Wireless Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising wireless communication networks. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity, enhancing network performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage wireless network architectures and designs.
• Conduct site surveys to determine network feasibility.
• Configure and maintain wireless access points and routers.
• Work with vendors to select and procure necessary equipment.
• Monitor and report on network performance metrics.
• Implement redundancy and failover solutions within the network.
• Provide training and support to staff on new technologies.
• Create comprehensive network plans and strategies.
• Assist in managing projects related to network development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in wireless technologies are a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role with hands-on experience
