As an Environmental Consultant in Nottingham, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and advising on various environmental issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and helping organisations adopt sustainable practices. You will work directly with clients across diverse sectors, conducting environmental audits, and developing strategies to mitigate environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental risk factors through comprehensive analysis.
• Draft and manage reports for regulatory compliance.
• Consult with clients on environmental legislation changes.
• Research innovative sustainable practices and technologies.
• Conduct workshops to improve client understanding of environmental issues.
• Analyze and interpret environmental data for reporting.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners for integrated project approaches.
• Advise management on environmental policy development.
• Foster partnerships with local environmental organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Management or related field
• Master’s degree in Environmental Science is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of direct experience in environmental consultancy
