Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Recreation Therapy Aide to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assist in providing therapeutic activities for individuals with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Help in executing and evaluating recreational therapy sessions.
• Foster relationships with patients to encourage participation and progress.
• Document all interactions and patient responses accurately.
• Liaise with families to inform them of therapeutic objectives and progress.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all activities.
• Support the development of new therapeutic initiatives to improve patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Higher qualification in Recreational Therapy or a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs

Technical Skills

• Documentation

Certifications

• Additional certifications in specialised therapy techniques (e.g., art therapy, music therapy)

Languages
