As an Orderly, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to patients in a mentally health facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate care while assisting patients with daily tasks.
Observe and document patients’ progress and any changes to their mental or physical state.
Assist in the coordination of therapeutic activities.
Support the nursing staff in implementing care plans.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
Facilitate communication between patients and staff.
Participate in training and skill enhancement opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Requirements
Education
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Experience
No previous experience required, but experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
