Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Slip Cover Sewer to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will handle sewing high-quality slip covers tailored to various furniture items, focusing on craftsmanship and timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Use various sewing techniques to produce slip covers that meet customer specifications.
• Adjust machines as necessary to produce the best quality.
• Ensure all work is completed within the agreed timeframes.
• Provide input on materials and design improvements.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment and processes.
• Support the Quality Control team by addressing any issues found.
• Utilize measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts.
• Maintain equipment and report any repairs needed.
• Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to meet project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Proven experience as a Slip Cover Sewer or similar role

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in slip cover sewing or a related field.

Technical Skills

Advantageous

• Experience in upholstery sewing: Hands-on experience in upholstery sewing will be beneficial.
