Job Description

As a Substitute Bus Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Your responsibilities will include assisting students in boarding and exiting the bus safely, monitoring their behaviour during transportation, and helping those with special needs. This temporary position may extend based on the school's requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Help students board and exit the bus in an orderly fashion.
  • Ensure students are secured in their seats before departure.
  • Monitor and manage student behaviour during transit.
  • Provide assistance to students with disabilities and special needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Engage with parents and school officials as necessary for effective communication.

Requirements

Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
