Consultant Dietitian

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant Dietitian to join our team. As a Consultant Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on nutrition and dietary requirements to patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based recommendations for patient dietary needs.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient health.
• Assist in developing nutrition policies and guidelines for the organisation.
• Contribute to public health campaigns and community outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related area is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical nutrition and nutritional counselling.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in dietary analysis
• Proficiency in EMR systems

Soft Skills

• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN)
• Membership in the Nutrition Society

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in public health nutrition: Familiarity with community nutrition strategies and interventions.
• Public speaking experience: Ability to deliver presentations and training on nutritional topics.
