We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Peterborough. This role focuses on improving community health outcomes through strategic planning, research, and collaboration with local agencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in public health and a passion for community service.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate health promotion materials for community outreach.
• Participate in health fairs and community events to promote health services.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to discuss public health programmes.
• Provide support for grant writing and funding opportunities for health initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of public health interventions and report results.
• Prepare presentations for local government and public health meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

• 2+ years in a similar public health role
