Job Description

Join our Liverpool team as a Public Health Officer, where you will lead initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. You will work closely with various stakeholders to design and implement public health strategies, focusing on prevention and health promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead health promotion campaigns targeting key health issues within the community.
  • Work with local governments to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff and community members on public health topics.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends in community health data, providing reports on findings.
  • Liaise with the media to promote public health messages.
  • Support initiatives aimed at reducing health disparities among vulnerable populations.
  • Assist in emergency response efforts related to public health crises.
  • Collaborate with researchers to support public health studies.
  • Develop health education materials for distribution in the community.
  • Engage with community members to gather feedback on health services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree is beneficial
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community health or public health roles
