Job Description

As an Electric Sign Wirer, you will be responsible for wiring and connecting electrical components to create functional electric signs. This role is pivotal to the signage industry, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various signage solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain electric signs and related components.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure functionality.
  • Work closely with installation teams to carry out effective installations.
  • Monitor safety protocols during installation processes.
  • Document work and maintain accurate records of installations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in training junior staff and apprentices.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and safe to use.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progression.

Requirements

Education
  • City & Guilds or equivalent electrical installation qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in the signage industry.
