Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Manager to lead our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and proven experience in managing software development projects while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the systems development team and support team members in their professional development.
  • Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and ensure best practices in software development are followed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, embracing new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity.
  • Implement performance metrics to monitor project efficiency and quality.
  • Lead team meetings to facilitate communication and resolve project-related issues promptly.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the software development process.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of software solutions across platforms.
  • Organise training sessions for the development team on new tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in project management or software development are highly desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
