Job Description

As a Public Health Educator, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing health education programmes aimed at enhancing community awareness on health issues. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful initiatives that promote wellness and prevent disease.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute community health education programmes.
  • Engage in public speaking at community events and schools.
  • Collect and analyse data to inform public health strategies.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver health campaigns.
  • Draft informative materials and report on programme successes.
  • Lead health promotion events and activities in the community.
  • Provide training and resources for other health educators.
  • Advocate for community health needs at local health meetings.
  • Develop partnerships with local organisations for health initiatives.
  • Assess and revise educational materials for relevance and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community health education
