Job Description

As a Submarine Cable Equipment Technician, you will be pivotal in the installation, maintenance, and repair of submarine cable systems. Your work will involve onshore and offshore tasks, ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients. Ideal candidates will have experience with both electrical and mechanical systems, alongside strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments and operational checks on equipment.
• Manage and coordinate equipment logistics for onshore and offshore deployments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify improvements to current systems.
• Compile and present findings from maintenance checks to the team.
• Maintain a focus on health and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in submarine cable installation and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Experience with fiber optic systems
• Mechanical proficiency

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent
