Job Description

We seek a dedicated Ladle Filler to fill an essential role in our production team. You will be tasked with transferring molten metal while ensuring all safety and operational guidelines are followed closely.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and prepare ladles by cleaning them meticulously ahead of filling.
  • Accurately measure molten metal amounts using industry-standard equipment.
  • Transfer molten metal into ladles while ensuring safety measures are upheld.
  • Monitor the ladle temperature for optimum results.
  • Ensure that all ladles are sealed and ready for the next stage.
  • Maintain detailed records of operations regarding ladle fillings.
  • Strictly follow safety protocols during all operations.
  • Work with production teams to achieve and exceed productivity goals.
  • Conduct routine checks and cleaning of ladle filling machinery.
  • Promptly inform supervisors of any equipment issues.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the steel or manufacturing industry is essential.
