Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics operations within our Leeds branch. This role involves planning and coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate logistics operations to support supply chain activities.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Assist in budgeting for logistics and supply chain activities.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and logistics processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate logistics software solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Provide training and support to junior logistics staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles preferred
