Job Description

As an Automotive Sheet Metal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing sheet metal components, ensuring seamless integration with vehicle design.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop sheet metal components for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sheet metal parts into the overall design.
  • Perform feasibility studies and testing to validate the durability and performance of components.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and ensure quality standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, offering technical expertise.
  • Monitor industry trends to stay informed about advancements in sheet metal engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sheet metal engineering
Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD
  • SolidWorks
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving
