We are seeking a Yard Supervisor to manage daily operations and supervise a dynamic team in our busy yard environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yard activities, ensuring efficient processes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations in the yard, focusing on efficiency and safety.
• Oversee a team of workers, ensuring they are trained and competent.
• Liaise with other departments to facilitate effective material handling.
• Conduct stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
• Evaluate team performance and conduct regular appraisals.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Implement operational improvements and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training

Experience

• 3+ years in supervisory roles within the manufacturing or logistics sectors.

Technical Skills

• Health & safety management
• Operational efficiency

Soft Skills

Certifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to operate heavy machinery: Experience operating various types of heavy machinery as needed.
