Job Description

As a Hand Loom Weaver at Artisan Textiles Ltd., you will be responsible for creating exquisite textiles using traditional hand looms. This role requires not only technical skill but also creativity as you design patterns and fabrics unique to our brand, ensuring the highest quality standards are met in every piece.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand looms and conduct troubleshooting as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve weaving skills and techniques.
• Develop creative textile solutions using sustainable practices.
• Document all weaving processes accurately for quality control.
• Work closely with the Production Manager on workflow optimizations.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Textile Design or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with hand looms.

Technical Skills

• Fabric design
• Pattern reading

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sustainable practices: Understanding of environmentally sustainable textile production methods.
