Job Description

We are seeking an Inset Cutter who will be responsible for operating a machine to create exquisite inset designs in wood and other materials. The ideal candidate should possess solid woodworking skills and a keen eye for intricate detailing.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with woodworking technicians to execute designs accurately.
• Handle and care for various woodworking tools, ensuring they are kept in good condition.
• Document production processes and report any issues to management.
• Train new workers on the operation of the Inset Cutter machine.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in woodworking or a related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in woodworking, with experience operating an Inset Cutter machine preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in woodworking techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with various materials: Ability to work with different materials such as metal and plastic.
