Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders to join our vibrant team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intricate cut-out patterns for vampire-themed costumes used in films, TV shows, and theatre productions.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality cut-outs for vampire or horror-themed costumes.
• Work closely with the design team to finalize designs.
• Ensure all cut-outs are produced efficiently and accurately.
• Help with the installation of cut-outs at various production locations.
• Provide input on the best materials to use for various designs.
• Keep track of all tools and materials used in the production process.
• Stay updated with trends in costume design.
• Organize and participate in brainstorming sessions for new projects.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in costume design or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in costume design or related field

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Cutting and pattern-making skills
• Knowledge of fabrics and materials

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Communication skills

Advantageous

• Experience working in film or TV production: Previous involvement in productions would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with vampire or horror-themed costumes: Knowledge of themes helps in design accuracy.
