Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal function of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the upkeep of machinery to maintain optimal performance.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent defects.
• Work with supply chain to order necessary parts and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other staff.
• Report on maintenance activities and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• City and Guilds qualification in Maintenance or Engineering
• Relevant Degree or Equivalent is preferred

Experience

• Experience with troubleshooting a variety of machinery and systems

• Machining Skills

Certifications

• NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in HVAC systems: Knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems for maintaining optimal working conditions.
• Knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS): Experience with software for tracking maintenance activities and resources.
