Responsibilities

• Set up and operate shearing machines to cut billets accurately.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to uphold high standards.
• Maintain logs of production output and machine performance.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to optimise workflow.
• Assist in the training of new operators on machine functions and safety standards.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment issues.
