We are seeking a motivated Environmental Consultant to join our Birmingham office. You will play a vital role in supporting clients with environmental assessments, compliance, and sustainability initiatives. Job Responsibilities
  • Lead environmental impact assessments for various projects.
  • Consult with clients on environmental compliance and risk management.
  • Draft and review environmental reports and proposals.
  • Provide training and support on sustainability practices to clients.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Research and apply new environmental technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to local and national environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report findings.
  • Promote environmental best practices within the organisation.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Environmental Regulations Deep understanding of UK environmental legislation and policies.
  • Site Assessment Experience in conducting environmental site assessments.
  • Data Analysis Proficient in analysing environmental data and trends.
  • Communication Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Adept at identifying and developing solutions to environmental issues.
  • Teamwork Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively in teams.
  • Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv)
  • Environmental Management System Auditor
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in Client Management: Skills in maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Fluency in another language: Proficiency in a second language will be an advantage.
