Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Consultant to enhance our consultancy team in Birmingham. Your responsibilities will include ensuring client compliance with environmental laws, conducting site assessments, and advising on sustainable practices to help mitigate environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments for various projects.
• Consult with clients on environmental compliance and risk management.
• Draft and review environmental reports and proposals.
• Provide training and support on sustainability practices to clients.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Research and apply new environmental technologies.
• Ensure adherence to local and national environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report findings.
• Promote environmental best practices within the organisation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or Urban Planning

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental assessments and compliance

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Certification
• NEBOSH Environmental Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
