Job Description

We are seeking a Web Application Designer to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for crafting and optimising web applications, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience. Ideal candidates will have a flair for design coupled with technical expertise, and a desire to stay ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing and functional designs for web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers to clarify requirements.
  • Utilise analytics tools to measure user interaction and improve designs.
  • Develop brand-consistent visual assets for web pages.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of design processes and decisions.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Assist in workshops and brainstorming sessions for design solutions.
  • Maintain a strong focus on user experience and trends in web technologies.
  • Assist with front-end development tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in web development and design

  • HTML/CSS

Languages
