Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled Television Specialist (TV Specialist) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing television production activities and ensuring optimal performance of broadcasting equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in television production, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet broadcasting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of broadcasting equipment during live and recorded sessions.
• Conduct troubleshooting to resolve any technical issues as they arise.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to design and implement effective production processes.
• Manage the setup of recording locations, including lighting and sound equipment.
• Edit broadcast content for final production using advanced video editing software.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and ensure best practices are followed.
• Assist in the development of training programmes for new staff.
• Document all equipment maintenance and updates to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors regarding equipment procurement.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Media Studies or a related field is beneficial.
• Industry-related certifications or diplomas.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the broadcasting industry.
