Job Description

As a Health Informatics Specialist, you will be instrumental in enhancing the integration of technology in clinical practices. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technological solutions, driving efficiency and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing informatics practices and suggest enhancements.
  • Conduct hands-on training for healthcare staff in EHR usage.
  • Guide clinical staff in the effective utilisation of informatics tools.
  • Support the implementation of new healthcare technologies.
  • Ensure technology-related activities comply with established regulations.
  • Coordinate with team members for a smooth workflow during system transitions.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement in technology adoption.
  • Engage in industry conferences to stay abreast of trends.
  • Participate in the development of strategic informatics plans.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making in clinical settings.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Certification in healthcare informatics
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare technology support roles
