Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Examine pets and diagnose health issues or injuries.
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgeries with precision and care.
  • Educate pet owners about animal care and wellness.
  • Oversee the work of junior veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
  • Engage in community outreach and animal welfare initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Membership with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is essential.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in veterinary practice, with a focus on surgery.
