Job Description

As a Herbalist at HealthRoots Wellness Centre, you will provide holistic natural remedies and treatments to clients, utilising your extensive knowledge of medicinal plants and alternative therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations to identify clients' health goals and symptoms.
• Develop and implement personalised treatment plans focused on holistic healing.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting plans as required.
• Educate clients on herbal treatments and general wellness practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Research and integrate new herbal therapies into practice.
• Provide workshops and community education on herbal medicine.
• Ensure adherence to legal guidelines in herbal practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
• Advocate for clients' health and wellness needs.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified herbalist with recognised diploma in herbal medicine
• Advanced certifications in holistic health are preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical herbalist role

• Herbal formulation

Certifications

• Registered Herbalist (RH)
• Holistic Health Practitioner Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
