Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Veterinary Care Ltd., you will play a vital role in providing medical care to a variety of animals. Your expertise will be critical in diagnosing and treating health issues while maintaining a compassionate environment for both pets and pet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive care and health education to pet owners.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Perform dental procedures and maintain oral health.
  • Assist with the training and supervision of junior staff and interns.
  • Engage in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of clinic policies and protocols.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuous learning.
  • Ensure a positive experience for clients and their pets.
  • Manage time effectively to meet the demands of a busy clinic.
  • Participate in emergency care and after-hours services as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Surgery is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting
